Biography
Entrepreneur and business executive, Brett Tollman has been in the travel and tourist services industry for over three decades. Brett is an accredited management and marketing professional, also recognized for his charitable activities. He heads up The Travel Corporation- (TTC) as the company's CEO and President. TTC is a global leader in tailor-made tours, boutique hotels and river cruises and related leisure travel services. Born in South Africa and immigrated to the Unites States, Brett completed his undergraduate degree in Hotel Management at Cornell University. Now living in California, Brett serves as the Vice Chairman of WTTC, The World Travel & Tourism Council.

As TTC CEO and President, Brett Tollman is one of the driving forces behind the success of this global organization. The TTC group of companies has earned its reputation as a world leader in tourism and travel, with brandname niche companies such as Red Carnation Hotels, Trafalgar Tours, Contiki Holidays, Creative Holidays, Insight Vacations, AAT Kings, Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection, Brendan Vacations, and African Travel. TTC proudly manages destination travel for more than one million travelers annually to a host of traditional and exotic locations. Before joining TTC in 1997, Brett was President and Chief Operating Officer of the T-H Hotels in New York. He has also been CEO of Red Carnation Hotels, a prestigious boutique hotel chain owned by TTC. Coupled with his numerous management activities, Brett also serves on the board of WTTC. As a Vice Chairman, Brett takes an active part in this international travel and tourism forum established for global leaders. The forum is dedicated to promoting and supporting worldwide tourism and tourist-related activities in an industry that proudly employs over 230 million people and is responsible for 9.3% GDP on a global scale.
Giving Back
Brett Tollman is a firm believer in charitable causes and he leads TTC in a raising awareness of and for several conservation efforts around the globe. Brett was responsible for the establishment of the TTC Conservation Foundation with Dave Hosking, global MD of Contiki Holidays, set up to support and protect numerous cultural and ecological projects around the globe. Helping preserve Brazilian rain forests, studying tourism traffic patterns onto Venice island, working with WWF on a joint project in Australia, are just a few of the Foundation's past charitable ventures. Brett is also very involved in the prestigious YPO. Devoted to promoting travel into South Africa, the place of his birth, Brett, under the auspices of TTC, also supports Project Wendy House that constructs family homes for the needy in the neighboring townships. In support of the project, TTC employees took part in a special shared building project, constructing over 20 new homes for these underprivileged families. More than giving of their time and tools, TTC delegates had the opportunity to visit beautiful South Africa, as part of a program to encourage and develop travel in the region.
